Beautiful coffee, baked goods, and ambience. Also a shop selling perfectly curated clothing. Our visit to the shop was a lovely addition to a great day on the Kumano Kodo trail.

This is a great place for cake & coffee after visiting the Hayatama Taisha shrine nearby! The outside of the building is unassuming, but the café inside, located on the 2nd floor, radiates a warm, cozy atmosphere, with a touch of an old townhouse of the early Showa era. As the name says, you can get a nice view from cozy tables and chairs located at the 2nd floor windows, or alternatively sit in comfy sofas in another room. Currently (since 2020) the owner only sells hot and cold beverages and cake, the lunch menu (used to focus on curries) is unfortunately on hold. But the food and drinks are wonderful! We had the Basque Cheese Cake, a chai and a cocoa, all very yummy. The place also sells clothes (mainly organic/hemp-based, both for women and men) as well as accessories from the different places the owner has traveled to: Nepal, Mexico, Europe etc.

Stopped for a quick coffee before my next destination. The cafe is located on the second floor, it's a very beautiful place filled with small details and decorations, they also have a very nice selection of clothing available, music and atmosphere were very serene and charming. The hot blend coffee and apple tart were amazing. The shop keepers are very nice people and we had a quick and enjoyable chat. Thanks for the amazing coffee, I hope to visit again in the future!

A peaceful and relaxing cafe with quality coffee and desserts. The owner couple are very kind and welcoming. Their little son will join them to greet you with a smile. Just the right place to take a short rest after visiting the Kumano Haitama shrine. They also have their own clothing store in the same space, selling some interesting clothes, shoes, bags, hats, purses etc. You might find a good if you like trying out new styles.
